SOLVED! Meat thief/battery suspect in north Polk/south Lake area

The suspect was identified as 36-year old Salaam Muhammad Payton of Clermont. He was arrested on April 26th and charged with robbery.

CRIME SCENE: ALDI, 9550 US 192, FOUR CORNERS (CLERMONT)
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #25-15480
The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a retail theft and battery that occurred at the Four Corners Aldi store at 9550 US 192 (Clermont) on April 16th, at around 8:10 pm.
The suspect, seen in this video, stole nearly $200 worth of meat. He then pushed a female employee as he was walking out of the store.
The suspect left the area on foot, walking north (toward Lake County).

A business on Massachusetts Avenue in Lakeland has had problems with people trespassing on their property, loitering, doing drugs, and causing a general nuisance.
