CRIME: CAR BURGLARIES
CRIME SCENE: GILBERT STREET / US 17, EAGLE LAKE
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE# 25-40015

On October 4, 2025, between 2am and 6am, multiple car burglaries occurred in Eagle Lake, in the area around Gilbert Street and US 17.

It appears that all of the victims left their cars unlocked, and numerous pieces of property were stolen from within.
